But now that I’m here the truth is harder to see

Which ones are the truths in the midst of the lies

Why does it seem like the world is so full of confusion
Just when I think I find truth I find it’s an illusion
When I try to discern the wrong from right
But there’s more gray than black or white

There are questions unanswered I know I need to make some sense of
But my predispositions I first gotta take and dispense of
Do I think I’ve found the only way
And everyone else has simply gone astray

The confusion is there so that I don’t get stuck in a hole
I’m caught up in minor discrepancies
